I contacted Angus Ravanelli from Sierra Gate homes to do the fit up for Not Your Father's Barber on Murray Street in the Byward Market because he came highly recommended to me from the building owner. I'm very grateful that I did. Never having opened a small business in a retail space before, I had a lot of questions and concerns about permits, building code and inspections and Angus was always available to me to not only answer these questions for me but to intervene on my behalf with inspectors regarding certain aspects of the fit up. He not only saved me money on the job, which was already reasonably priced, he also saved me stress and gave me peace of mind that the job was being done to spec and therefore there would be no issues come inspection time. And he was right, inspectors were very impressed with the work that was done and the shop passed easily and quickly.Sierra Gate arranged permit drawings, electrical upgrades, plumbing installation as well as finishing work related to the plumbing venting and baseboard work after painting. The subcontractors were punctual, professional and obviously very skilled in their individual trades. Not only did Angus arrange these contractors, he was present at least once, often more, every day that work was being performed. He was very hands on, available for questions and oversaw the work the way a General Contractor should. He took responsibility for every bit of work that was done in the shop and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction.Angus and Andrea were one of the best decisions I made during the planning process of opening my business. I know 100% that if I do ever run into any issues with the work done in the shop that they will stand by their work and I've very happy with their guarantee. Angus and Andrea have checked in more than one time since our opening in early July to check in on the work, the business and me personally to see if I need anything. Amazing people, amazing work and a reasonable price. Everything I was looking for in a general contractor and I've found one for my next project whenever that may be.If you're considering a contractor, look no further than Sierra Gate Homes.

Springwood Homes built us a beautiful home!! From our initial meeting with their team to the final walkthrough it was nothing but a pleasure to work with their company.Erwin, Hank, James, Kyle, Nickolas, and his son were all amazing and are extremely hard workers. The tradesmen were a delight to work with as well.We are over the moon about our family's new home and we are so glad we chose Springwood over the other companies.If you ever build a home, we highly recommend Springwood; you will not be disappointed and you will have an amazing forever home!!Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Just drove past it but I have been told they are a respectable family business.

I signed the Contract with Arnprior with credits and rebates included; Head Office in Quebec tried to force me to sign a contract with errors regarding payments, no credits or other bonuses, and a no court action clause. All different then want I agreed to and, AFTER I sent in all my deposits. Lorraine in Arnprior helped us work with head office. Hopefully all works out - very stressful!UPDATE: months and months later - no plans, no refunds - homeless family until this is sorted.Exterior pot lights and wiring installed by Bonneville contracted company as part of the button up purchased. Not wired together, only half of the house lights up. They installed the facia and soffit without connecting the two sides. Bonneville now states that it is not their responsibility to fix. Their company installed the wiring and the soffit without connecting the two sides?! I now have to hire a contractor to remove the soffit , run a wire through the cathedral rafter and reinstall the soffit. Extremely frustrating company to deal with, once you make payment you are an inconvenience to them.

Our modular home has high quality workmanship and the purchase experience was very enjoyable. We were always able to contact or meet with our building consultant who helped us through every step of the process. We had thoroughly looked at other modular home companies but found both choices and upfront information lacking. Quality Homes has provided a beautiful home for us. We purchased one of the high end models from WMH. Would not recommend to anyone.I experienced poor quality, poor customer service and quality control, poor value.Still dealing with poor workmanship, roof leaks and unfinished home. House was turned over 6 months ago.My experience coincided with most of the negative reviews posted.

Kelly and his team are a great bunch of guys and are always easy to talk to. They take care and pride in what they do and the finished product shows it. I highly recommend their service.
